Privacy Policy

Information we collect

• Account information — your email address, and if you sign in with Google, the display name and profile picture Google provides. We also record which sign-in method you used.
• Vacation details you enter — check-in/check-out dates, lodging type, and party size.
• Notification preferences — which categories and channels you've opted into.
• Collaboration data — if you use the invite-a-collaborator feature: the email addresses you invite, and any comments posted on a shared vacation's comment feed.

How we use it

We use this information to operate the service: computing your vacation's booking-window dates, sending you the email reminders you've opted into, authenticating your sign-in, and — for collaborative vacations on a Plus or Agent tier — generating an AI summary of your vacation's comment thread when you or a collaborator views it. That summary is generated by sending the comment text (not your account credentials) to Anthropic's Claude API, and is cached until new comments are posted rather than regenerated on every visit.

Third parties we share data with

We don't sell your data or use it for advertising. We do rely on the following services to operate EnchantedKeeper, each of which processes a limited slice of your data on our behalf:

• Supabase — authentication and database hosting.
• Vercel — application hosting.
• Resend — delivers the booking-window and collaborator invite emails we send.
• Anthropic — generates the AI trip-summary feature (Plus/Agent-tier collaboration only), described above.
• Google — if you choose "Continue with Google" to sign in.

Cookies

We use only the essential session cookies Supabase Auth sets to keep you signed in. We don't use advertising, tracking, or analytics cookies.

Data retention & deletion

We retain your account and vacation data for as long as your account is active. To request deletion of your account and associated data, email us at the address below.

Children's privacy

EnchantedKeeper is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we'll update the date above. Continued use of EnchantedKeeper after a change means you accept the updated policy.
